Award For Educational Advancement
In the 2025–2026 season, the Little CaesarsAAA Hockey Club launched the Award for Educational Advancement, a $5,000 annual scholarship presented to graduating players who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to both their academic and athletic development. This award highlights our continued dedication to supporting student-athletes who lead with character, work ethic, and a drive to succeed beyond the rink.
Founded in 1968 through the vision of the Ilitch family, Little Caesars AAA Hockey Club has become a national model forelite player development. With numerous national titles and a deep alumni basecompeting at the NCAA and professional levels, the Club remains focused on preparing athletes not just for the next level in hockey—but for meaningfulfutures beyond the rink.
Each year, two (2) graduating players will be selected to receive a $5,000 scholarship to support their pursuit of higher education. These funds may be used toward tuition, books, housing, or other college-related expenses. Through this scholarship, LittleCaesars AAA Hockey Club proudly recognizes the academic achievement, personal character, and leadership of its players, while helping them take the next stepin their journey.

Scholarship Requirements
1. Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be registered with Little Caesars AAA Hockey Club for the 2025–26 season
- Hold a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Have been accepted to an accredited college or university and plan to enroll within two (2) years
- Complete a minimum of 4 volunteer hours for their local association
- Understand awards are based on availability of funds and decided solely by LC AAA Administration
2. Application Process
- Submit application through the official LC AAA Hockey questionnaire
- Include the following:
- Letter of recommendation from player’s coach, manager, or administrator
- Letter of acceptance from an accredited educational institution
- High school transcript
- Letter of confirmation from local association verifying volunteer hours

Note that Final selection will be made by the LC AAA Administration. Recipients will be notified by email and publicly announced via press release and other LC AAA media sources. All selections are final. All applications and attachments become the property of Little Caesars AAA.
